Beer, baked tortilla chips and salsa.

Well, clearly not a healthy choice overall, but in comparison to the other meals, you will less likely screw up your hormones choosing this & you can call it a smart cheat meal.

Why? It is basically all carbs.

Depending on the type of chips, there is some oil in them, but nothing compared to the fat in the other 2 dishes. The average tortilla chip, serving of 15 has about 10g of carbs and 3g of fat. This is much lower than the above.

Beer is not the best option for fat loss, but when it isn't combined with a high fatty meal, it isn't going to affect your hormones the way it would if you were eating a cheeseburger with it.

So really none of the 3 options are wonderful, but the point of all this is that in the real world, you will not always be faced with healthy options. So when you are not, the best thing to do is either choose all carbs, or all fat, just don't mix the two together and you will be much better off in the long run.

To really help reduce fat storage and turn this into fat burning would be to throw lean protein into the mix and fibrous veggies to keep your insulin from rising too high.
